Did it work?
Sort of. It worked for the top but not the bottom. I think between us we got a pair of cat-eyes with the tape. It was still pretty fun sticking tape all over ourselves.

How about instead of actually looking up the causes for chest pains I just look up images of Giles Corey being crushed to death?

Olympic-level self-love champion
Coming home to eat the same take-out meal as always—after there had been only one table all shift—to find a new “My Superpower is Being Alone Forever” is perfect and just so crappy.

My pal’s father has been trying to get me to discuss Norwegian Wood with him for a while. Said friend loaned my copy to him before she moved in the hopes that it would not have to be mailed back. I went to get the details on catsitting for them this week, and he finally revealed what he’d wanted to discuss: the sex scenes. Heavens. Dads are too much for me.

What do people who make bibles think will happen to them? How many more bibles will I be throwing away before this house is sold?
I have kept two family bibles, and they both look old but not old enough for the birth dates recorded in them. I am not so convinced that these things should be dear to me.

One of my best friends from high school had some unexpected health problems last year and has dedicated the new year to projects. Each week she picks a theme and documents what she learns. It’s definitely my favorite blog not dedicated to wonton alcohol use and/or pop culture.
